Program Itinerary
Following is a sample schedule for the four week volunteer program. Although subject to minor change, the
iSPiiCE volunteer schedule largely follows the described framework.

- Arrival in New Delhi
- Pick up at New Delhi Airport between 12:00 am (midnight) to 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon. Airport transfer to hotel in New Delhi
- Transfer to Himachal Pradesh by over night train or bus on Sunday evening

- Visit to work areas / meeting about work area distribution
- Trip to Dharamsala to purchase material for Indian dresses

(Saturday and Sunday) - Trekking in the Himalayas |

- Overnight stay in guesthouse or tenting accommodation

- Departure from camp on Saturday morning to travel to Amritsar (visit the Golden Temple and Wagha Border)
- One night stay in Amritsar

- Free weekend for exploration of the local area (McLeod Ganj town, Dharamsala town, Norbulingka Institute)

(Friday) - Day train to Agra
|
- Departure from camp and travel to Agra (to visit the Taj Mahal regarded as one of the eight wonders of the world)
- Arrival in Agra and trasfer to the hotel, one night stay

- Rise early to visit the Taj Mahal
- Afternoon free time in Agra
- Travel to New Delhi by train
- Overnight stay at Delhi Hotel or travel to the airport for return flight
