To help you plan and prepare for your trip it is important to provide all the necessary information from the outset. iSPiiCE volunteer guidelines will help to keep you on track throughout the application and preparation process and give you a taste of life on an iSPiiCE volunteering in India project. Apart from the information contained here you will receive pre departure information booklets with detailed information upon booking your program.

Volunteer Success Strategy
Should you choose to take part in an iSPiiCE volunteer program please bear in mind that we cannot allow for every eventuality. Choosing to take part involves travel afar to an unfamiliar and unpredictable environment. Rural Indian lifestyles and conditions are different from those you are used to so please be open minded and culturally sensitive to a different way of life. Be prepared to cope with the vagaries of weather and travel and mankind in general; especially important when living in shared accommodation with volunteers from many different backgrounds across the world. Volunteers will do well to stay flexible and adaptable; and above all else a good sense of humor will see you through most situations.
