iSPiiCE volunteering in India receive volunteers from all corners of the world and from all walks of life, a reflection of the varied needs of our programs. People from different backgrounds offer different skills and experiences, forming a diverse team and pool of knowledge and contributing to the holistic development of the community. It is through this diversity that your time with iSPiiCE in India will be complete and being part of an international team will teach you a great deal about the true meaning of living in a global community.
No matter the age or background iSPiiCE volunteers share similar motivations for volunteering; including the desire to give of their skills and energy to help those less fortunate; to gain new skills and perspectives; to lend a helping hand while experiencing life in rural India and to enjoy a unique and meaningful travel experience. The likelihood is that people will volunteer for a mixture of these reasons and it is these shared values and aspirations that make for a united and successful team.
There's no such thing as a typical iSPiiCE volunteer!
People are welcomed in the iSPiiCE volunteering program from the age of 16 and we have no upper age limit on programs. Most join iSPiiCE volunteering programs individually however we warmly welcome couples, friends and groups to the program to benefit from the shared experience.
